1. Introduction

FocusHouse ("we", "our", or "us") is a productivity app that helps you build focused work habits. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using FocusHouse you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's functionality:

• Focus sessions — duration, start/end time, category, and any notes you add.
• Goals — titles, deadlines, and completion status you enter.
• Categories — names, icons, and colors you configure.
• Achievements — unlock status based on your usage.
• App preferences — settings such as notification times and selected sounds.

We do NOT collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, or any advertising identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

All data listed above is used solely to:

• Display your focus history, statistics, and progress.
• Track goals and send local deadline reminders.
• Unlock achievements based on milestones.
• Restore your data if you reinstall the app (via iCloud).

We never use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to app functionality.

4. Data Storage & iCloud Sync

Your data is stored on-device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. We do not operate any servers that receive or store your personal data.

Apple's iCloud is subject to Apple's own Privacy Policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → FocusHouse.

5. In-App Purchases

FocusHouse offers optional subscriptions and a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment card details.

For subscription management — cancellation, refunds, and billing history — visit your Apple ID settings or go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device.

6. Third-Party Services

FocusHouse does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external service involved is Apple (iCloud for sync, App Store for payments), governed by Apple's privacy practices.

7. Local Notifications

With your permission, FocusHouse sends local notifications for goal reminders and scheduled focus sessions. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to external servers to deliver them. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → FocusHouse.

8. Children's Privacy

FocusHouse is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Your Rights

Because all your data lives on your device and in your personal iCloud account, you have full control over it at all times. You can:

• Delete all app data by uninstalling FocusHouse.
• Remove iCloud data via Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → FocusHouse.
• Request information about any data we may hold by contacting us at the address below.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of FocusHouse after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
